Football St George (“FSG”) is pleased to announced the Irene Hatzipetros has been re-appointed as the Chair and Executive Director of the Association.

At their meeting on 27 February 2023 the FSG Board unanimously endorsed Director Hatzipetros re-appointment as Chair and Executive Director.

Director Hatzipetros is the first female Chair of FSG, having first been appointed to the role in 2021.

Director Hatzipetros said;

“I am proud and honoured to be reelected as the Chair and Executive Director of Football St George.

It is undoubtedly an exciting time for football at all levels with a significant opportunity to further develop and transformation for the benefit of our football community.

Positioning our remarkable association for further growth through a clear strategy cannot be done alone and I acknowledge and thank my fellow Board members and CEO for their support and stewardship. Together, we will continue to actively pursue and capitalise on opportunities in the delivery of a product that is inclusive, accessible, and enjoyable.” 

I am delighted to accept the role and look forward to working closely with the board, executive, staff, and our incredible member clubs as we continue to build on the proud history and foundations of the association.
