The 2018 St George Football Association (SGFA) Gold Medal winner is Hassan Chebli.
Hassan was awarded the Associations highest honour at a gala evening held at The Grand Roxy last Friday evening, 14 September.
The evening was hosted by SBS TV Chief Football Host, Lucy Zelic and got off to a fantastic start thanks to comedian Rob Shehadie, who was a huge hit with the crowd. It was a fantastic evening which provided a chance to thank and reward Club volunteers, coaches, players and referees across the district.
SGFA were honoured to have Federal MPs David Coleman (Banks), Linda Burney (Barton) as well as Mayor of Bayside Council, Bill Saravinovski, and Mayor of Georges River Council, Kevin Greene, along with current Matilda and Sydney FC W-League player Chloe Logarzo and Sydney FC A-League players Brandon O’Neill and Josh Brilliante.
SGFA would also like to make special thanks to Chris Gardiner, Football NSW Director, Andrew Head from Deploy Football and the players and coaches from the Associations NPL Club, St George City FA, who attended the evening.

His hard work with government and the Association for improved facilities, has seen huge improvements to Gardiner Park including a new amenities building in 2015, upgraded lighting in 2017 and has been active in lobbying to deliver a synthetic surface at the venue, which will be completed in the near future.
