How do I download the Dribl App?






How to download the Dribl App for iOS

  1. On your iOS device such as iPhone or iPad – open the App Store
  2. Search for Dribl
  3. Click the Get button.

How to download the Dribl App for Android

  1. On your device, open Google Play Store.
    or visit the Google Play store on a web browser.
  2. Search for Dribl
  3. Select the Dribl app
  4. Select Install
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation


How do I know if I have the most up to date version of the Dribl App?

A clear indicator is the colour of the Dribl App icon. The old version was predominately white, where as the new version predominately black (as per example image below)

We highly recommend that you have automatic updates for your Apps switched on in your phones settings. As the App is continuously updated with new features, enhancements and bug fixes, this will ensure you always have the most up to date version of the App.

If you don’t have automatic updates on, you can manually check if you have the most up to date version of the App.

  1. Go to your relevant app store for IOS or Android.
  2. Search for Dribl
  3. If you have the most up to date version – the only option will be Open
  4. If your App version is NOT the most up to date version, the below option will appear as Update – click on this icon to update your Dribl App

How to update your Dribl App automatically


It is very important that your Dribl app can be automatically updated as well, both to ensure that you have the latest features and capabilities, as well as to ensure your apps are secure and functional.

How to update your Dribl App automatically for iOS

  1. Start the Settings app.
  2. Tap  App Store.
  3.  In the Automatic Downloads section, turn on App Updates by swiping the button to the right.How to update your Dribl App automatically for Android
    1. Open the Google Play Store app.
    2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
    3. Tap Settings
    4. Network Preferences
    5. Auto-update apps.
    6. Select an option:
      • Over any network to update apps using either Wi-Fi or mobile data.
      • Over Wi-Fi only to update apps only when connected to Wi-Fi.

    Note: If an account on your device has a sign-in error, apps may not update automatically.


Can I self activate my Dribl Account?

*** Important note when trying to activate your Dribl account via the app

Only registrations that are approved and have a member account can link their account on the Dribl app.

This means that your club will need to approve your registration in Playfootball and Dribl for you to activate your account.

The profile will be linked if you use your play Football email address. During the verification process, your name and date of birth will be verified, and if they match, it will activate the member account email and automatically assign them all their roles.

Alternatively, if you receive a welcome email, please use that email to activate your Dribl account and log in to the Dribl app using the email address and password that you created in the welcome email.

Please contact your Club Administrator if your account is not linked to your role.

Alternatively, you can also create an account using the Dribl App if you are not already a team supporter of a club.


  1. Open the app on your smartphone or tablet. and click on Sign Up.

2.  You will need to enter the same email address you used when registering for Play Football. (1) /  And click Next (2)

Note: If you don’t enter the same email as your Play Football Account Dribl will not give you access.

3. Once you enter you enter the same email address as your Play Football account email address Dribl will send a code enter the code and enter continue.

4. Once the Code is accepted you will receive a welcome message to begin to Personalise your Dribl App, click on  Next. 



5.  Select profile linked to the email address (1)  / Press next. (2)

6.  enter your first name(1)/ enter your Last Name (2)/ Click Next. (3)


7. Enter your date of birth (1)  / click Next. (2)

Note: your Date of birth needs to be the same as you have entered in Play football.

Dribl aware of the mobile app that wasn’t linking the profiles and was setting the D.O.B as the date they registered on the app. This has been fixed in the latest app update



9. This message will appear and finalise your account.

How do I prepare and submit my match sheet?

Do I need to confirm my opponents match sheet? – YES!


How do I enter the score for my game?

  • Please note: entering the half time score is not necessary for Football St George.
  • Full time scores must be entered.



How do I record a non SGFRA Referee?

  • If you did not have an SGFRA appointed referee at your game you will need to record an official on your match sheet
  • U12-O45 teams must record the name of the ‘unofficial’ referee on the match sheet
  • U6-U11 teams do not need to record the name of the ‘unofficial’ referee on the match sheet
  • U6-U11 teams should keep an internal record of unofficial referees should they need to be contacted in regards to an incident


There is an error on my Match Sheet- What do I do?

  • If you believe their is an error on your completed match sheet or have a dispute to raise such as
    • incorrect score;
    • mistaken identity for the recipient of a card;
    • incident that occured during your game;
      You will need to contact your Club President or Secretary to lodge an official report.
  • Disputes are not raised via the Dribl App.


I have a player showing as suspended, what can I do?

  • If you have a player showing as suspended you will need to contact your Club
  • We recommend looking at your sheet prior to the weekend to raise any disputes or concerns with your Club
