Football St George delivers Summer Football Competitions in MiniRoos, Junior, and Senior leagues. All competitions commence in September, concluding in December annually.


For MiniRoos leagues, Summer Football is a 12-week Premiership (round matches), with no Championship.

  • Round 1 matches commence week starting  Tue 24 Sep 2024
  • Round 12 matches commence week starting: Tue 10 Dec 2024


For Junior and Senior Leagues, the competitions include a 10-week Premiership (round matches) followed by a 2-week Championship (finals matches)

  • Premiership matches commence the starting:  Tue 24 Sep 2024
  • Championship matches commence week starting: Tue 3 Dec 2024


Summer Football competitions utilise all-weather facilities in the Georges River and Bayside Council areas.

Please note competition age groups and are days subject to minimum team registrations being confirmed. FSG aims for a minimum of 6 teams in each age/grade to establish a competition.


MiniRoos Leagues are offered in Girls (U6, U8 and U10) and Mixed Boys and Girls (U6, U8, and U10).

Junior Leagues are offered in Girls (U12, U14, U16 and U18) and Boys (U12, U14, U16 and U18).

Senior Leagues are offered in Women’s (All Age and Over 30), Men’s (All age and Over 35), and Mixed All Age (Women and Men).


All participants will be provided with a reversible jersey for the 2024 season.

All teams are required to wear the jerseys provided.


2024 Summer Football registrations open on 26 August 2024. ALL players must register for the FSG Summer Football program at or via the links below:

When registering, players should use their current Football Australia number and select the ‘SGFA Summer Football’ package. If a player does not have a Football Australia number they must create one by following the prompts on the Play Football website.

  • Players must register to the age they turn in 2024 regardless of the age group they will be playing in (eg. 8 year olds playing in U10 should still register to the U8 package).
  • U6 teams can register a maximum 8 players per team.
  • U8 and above teams can register a maximum of 10 players per team.


Player registration fees for the 2024 Summer Football competitions are per the following table.

Junior (U6 – U18)$145.00
Senior (19+)$180.00

Registration fees are inclusive of Football NSW fees, player accident support, Football St George administration & venue hire, reversible jersey per player, referee’s fees, and GST.


The Competition Regulations set out the rules by which summer football competitions are conducted by FSG.

The Competition Regulations address;

  • Administration of the competitions (control of competitions, age grades etc)
  • Technical Regulations (duration of matches, finals series, etc)
  • Eligibility and Registration (age eligibility, process for registration etc)
  • Team Sheets and Results (digital team sheets and match data reporting)
  • Match Officials (referee appointments, duties, welfare, payments etc)
  • Equipment Regulations (basic playing equipment, items worn under the playing kit, jewellery and glasses, numbering, playing colours etc)
  • Awards (club championship, medals, trophies etc)

Football St George uses the Dribl competition management system to view fixtures and results for all leagues.
