“With excitement building ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023, we are pleased to announce an all-female coaching group to lead the Girl’s Skill Acquisition Program. This demonstrates Football St George’s commitment to fostering female football and is aligned to our strategic goal of continued investment in player development via the Girls Skill Acquisition Program.

Importantly, four of the Coaches have been identified through the Female Coach Mentor Program that was established in 2022. It demonstrates that the program provides not only opportunity and education, but a pathway for female coaches.

FSG is dedicated to ensuring that the players in the GSAP have an environment where they can not only improve as footballers but also enjoy their experience. We know that the appointed coaches, supported by a qualified and experienced physiotherapist, with deliver just that.

The GSAP competition commences on 11 March 2023.
