Ramsgate RSL Memorial Club has continued its commitment and support for local football in St George in 2021, with a particular focus on female football.
The Club is a long-time major sponsor of local Football St George (FSG) grassroots Club, Ramsgate RSL FC, and has also been the major sponsor of the Associations Girls SAP program for the past 2-years.
The Memorial Club is a very community centric organisation that supports a number of sporting groups within the district.
FSG deliver a part-time Girls Skills Acquisition Program (SAP) that provides local players the opportunity to represent their district in the Football NSW competition whilst also still playing for their local grassroots Club in the FSG competitions.
FSG Girls SAP age groups cater for Under 10,11, 12 and 13 with players training weekly and playing games against other SAP teams every second week. The players also train weekly with their club team and play every Sunday with their club teams.
Football St George CEO, Craig Kiely, is proud of the partnership.

Football St George Technical Director, Brian Dene, is pleased with how the 2021 program is being delivered.

As a local grassroots Club, Ramsgate RSL FC, is one of the strongest and proudest in the district.
Based at Scarborough Park East, the Club have grown to over 400 players and work tirelessly in the overall promotion of further developing players and coaches across all age groups.
The Club have worked hard in driving the growth of female football and have embraced the Association Girls SAP. The Club have several talented players involved in the program, all aspiring to be the next Teresa Polias, who first began her footballing career at Ramsgate RSL FC and Carss Park FC and has gone on to represent the Matildas and captain the Sydney FC W-League team.
