St George Football Association (SGFA) is excited to confirm that we have been able to secure some amazing guest coaches for the inaugural SGFA Allstars event on Saturday 17 August 2019 at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.

Current New Zealand Ferns and former Matildas Head Coach, Tom Sermanni, will take the reins of the Bayside Council Womens Allstars, whilst future Matildas Susan Phonsongkham and Taylor Ray will lead the Georges River Council Allstars team.

St George FA CEO Craig Kiely, was thrilled to confirm the coaches for the event.

“It is a real privilege and honour to have Tom, Susan and Taylor involved in the SGFA Allstars day and we sincerely thank them for their support.”

“It will be a great experience for the players to play at such a great venue and we also hope that our guest coaches will enjoy the opportunity to be involved in a fun and enjoyable grassroots football event.”

“The Allstars event provides another opportunity for the light to be shone back on our local McDonalds Premier League competitions in St George.” Kiely said.

Sermanni has called St George home for many years whenever he has resided in Sydney. SGFA would also like to acknowledge the assistance of Football NSW in securing both Taylor and Susan and also Penny Hancock for connecting Tom with SGFA.

The confirmation of the Womens coaches is in addition to both Aytek Genc and Paul Reid being confirmed as coaches for the Mens games.
