St George Football Association (SGFA) is thrilled to confirm that we have secured the new synthetic football facility at Ador Avenue Reserve as one of 2 venues for our summer football program for 2018.

SGFA received a $2m Federal Government grant in 2016 and since then have worked closely with Bayside Council on the redevelopment project which is now complete and ready for its official opening in the coming weeks.

SGFA has been working with Council to open up access for the summer period for its annual program  which was last night unanimously supported and ratified at Council’s meeting.

Chairman Angelo Bonura, supported by Dierctor Ali Jomaa and General Manager Craig Kiely, spoke to Council last night about the importance of the program to its community Clubs and the positive impact and benefits to the wider community the SGFA’s summer program has had in recent years.

“We congratulate Council and it’s team on the construction of the facility which I must say looks magnificent. It will be a resource which the Bayside community will greatly enjoy and will transform the way football is delivered in the LGA.

“SGFA management and directors would like to extend their sincere thanks the Councillors and staff for their support throughout this process.” Bonura said.
