Peakhurst United was born on the 29th May 1964, in the garage of Mr Ken Hough,at 20 Milford Road Peakhurst. Hoddy Bourke, Russ Edwards and Ken Hough were the founders of the club after they made a decision to break away from St George Police Boys Club. The first season was played in 1965.

The club has developed some great players for the St George Area including some former greats of the game such at Harry Williams. The club has won over 119 premierships in its history making it one of the most successful clubs in the area.

Today Peakhurst United is a club of choice for all backgrounds with a diverse mix from a multicultural area. Recently the club has a new canteen with storage facilities with many more upgrades to come in the next 6-12months that will place the club well on the way to having some of the best facilities in the area.

The club has recently undertaken to hiring a club coach for the first time and has just been accredited as a Level 1 National Football Club by Football NSW and FFA. (first in the St George Football Association).

With all this Peakhurst United has laid the foundations for a strong future one where all players are welcome and learn to play the beautiful game the way it should be.
