On March 29, David Coleman MP, Federal Member for Banks and St George Football Association (SGFA) Patron, hosted the Prime Minister at a Community Afternoon Tea in Beverly Hills.

The Community Afternoon Tea, held at Olds Park Sports Club, was attended by over 130 local community leaders. The Prime Minister addressed the audience and spoke about the Government’s economic plan, the innovation and science agenda and the important Senate reforms before Parliament.

SGFA was in attendance at the function and represented by Director Ivan Pavelic and General Manager, Craig Kiely.

“I am very happy that the Prime Minister was able to come and meet with members of the local community”, Mr Coleman said. “Many of our local community leaders had the opportunity to speak directly with Prime Minister Turnbull”.

The Prime Minister said Australia is successfully transitioning from the mining construction boom to a new and more diverse economy. “Our Government’s Economic Plan is supporting this transition, by driving economic growth and creating the new, higher paying jobs of the future”, the Prime Minister said.
