This year’s Richo Cup will be held on Monday 10 June 2019 at Peakhurst Park. Participating teams need to arrive by 8 am with the first games scheduled to kick-off at 8.30 am. The joint organisers Forest Rangers FC and Lugarno FC as well as their patron the St George Football Association (SGFA) would like to invite you to submit teams to paritcipate in Richo Cup 2019.
Like in previous years the Richo Cup aims to bring clubs affiliated with the SGFA together to promote player health issues and donating the proceeds from the event to the St George Public Hospital. We all love playing our wonderfull game at the weekends but at the same time we need to ensure that players who participate in our sport do so having undertaken the necessary background health checks to ensure they are fit to play the game.
The day is open to all registered players in the SGFA from 15 years (to very mature). We encourage teams to be of mixed ages for both the men’s and women’s sides and to bring your families to enjoy the day. Like in previous years raffle tickets will be provided to clubs to sell to help raise funds. The donation to participate in this years Richo Cup has been set at $450 per team. Clubs need to confirm teams and player numbers by Friday 26 April 2019 to the following club contacts:
