Want to be a Warrior?

The St George Warriors Special Needs Program is back for its third season in 2017. The fast growing program is the legacy of former Carss Park FC President, the late Darryl Hancock, whose vision it was to offer a football program catering for male and female players with developmental disabilities aged 5 to adult years.

The Program is an innovative, equal access community initiative which provides a fun, inclusive and social environment for players and their families to participate in a modified team format.

Training is held at Parkside Drive, Carss Park, every second Friday with games held on Saturdays throughout the Winter Season.

Growing to four teams in 2017 and possibly more, the Warriors welcome any new players or families & friends with children with special needs to join and become part of this wonderful program. For anyone looking to become a Warrior, volunteer or assist with training, social interaction or game day support, contact Di (0405 150 359) or Penny (0425 296 917) or email warriors@sgfa.com.au.
